VARIO30-03 – Side-Mounted Aluminium LED Profile for Wall Lighting

VARIO30-03 by TOPMET Light is a distinctive aluminium LED profile from the modular VARIO30 family, designed for creating functional and decorative wall lighting. Its unique side-mounted construction positions the LED light source at a 90° angle to the mounting surface, allowing light to be directed along the wall.

This makes the VARIO30-03 LED profile particularly suitable for wall-mounted luminaires, mirror lighting and architectural accent lighting in residential and commercial interiors.

Side-Lighting Design and Flexible Configuration

VARIO30-03 accommodates LED strips up to 30 mm wide or compatible LED modules, offering flexibility when selecting a light source.

The profile can be used independently to create minimalist wall luminaires or combined with the VARIO30-08 aluminium housing, providing additional space for concealing an LED power supply.

Its construction makes it a practical choice for applications requiring directional illumination without a conventional front-facing light source.

Compatible Diffusers and Accessories

The VARIO30-03 aluminium LED profile supports four system diffuser types, also used in the COMBO30 family:

A9 slide-in diffuser – transparent (95%), frosted (90%) and opal (60%).
C9 click-in diffuser – transparent (95%), opal (70%) and black (40%).
D9 click-in diffuser – rounded opal version (70%).
E9 click-in diffuser – rectangular opal version (70%).

Dedicated VARIO30-03 end caps are compatible with A9 and C9 diffusers, while VARIO30-03-D9 and VARIO30-03-E9 end caps provide matching finishes for the rounded and rectangular versions.

For installation, VARIO30-03 is compatible with Y spring mounting clips, offering two mounting positions, and T mounting clips.
