Lighting for tiles. What profiles do we have for LED strips?
LED profiles for tiles are primarily aesthetic. They work perfectly in bathrooms and kitchens, supporting the main source of light. They create an even surface with the tiles, giving the effect of glowing joints. Our LED strips also blend well with wall tiles, and can also be embedded in wall corners. Depending on the preferred installation angle, the following profiles are available to our customers: UNI-TILE12 90 deg C, UNI-TILE12 180 deg C, UNI-TILE12 270 deg C. In addition, the TOPMET LIGHT catalogue includes two more floor LED profiles for tiles: FLOOR8 K/U and FLOOR12 K/U. What are their characteristics? What components do they contain?
What are the special features of TOPMET LIGHT LED profiles for tiles?
Recessed profiles for tiles require special holes or milling in the floor surface to allow easy installation of LED strips. However, it is best to install them simultaneously with tiles, thus avoiding the need to cut them. Choosing our profiles you do not have to worry about the aspect of increased humidity of the floor in the room, because it is possible to use waterproof strips and a set of sealants and silicone, thanks to which you can obtain full water-tightness. Moreover, the recessed LED profiles for tiles from TOPMET LIGHT are made entirely of anodised material, which guarantees high resistance to scratches and abrasion, and the diffusers mounted in them are solid and resistant to cracks. In addition, the use of 120 and 240 P/m LED strips for the tiles will allow an impressive continuous line of light to be achieved.
On the other hand, under-tile LED profiles are ideal for tiles up to 10mm thick. They can be mounted at three angles – 90, 180 and 270°. The advantage of our under-tile luminaires is the ready-made mounting hole, which makes the installation extremely easy and increases the adhesion of the product to the surface. In the TOPMET LIGHT offer you can choose profiles with two widths of the place for inserting the LED source – 8 and 12 mm.
LED profiles for tiles. What components do we offer?
It is possible to choose two types of diffusers for LED profiles for tiles – C and K diffusers. Their installation and removal is very convenient, because it is not necessary to have access to the ends of profiles, which allows to screw the diffuser in even after installing it in a niche or in a piece of furniture. Moreover, we offer such components as end caps in silver or grey colour made of ABS material and additionally gaskets and mounting plates.
