SMART16 LED Profile – Aluminium Profile for Modern Furniture Lighting

SMART16 by TOPMET Light is a surface-mounted aluminium LED profile developed for furniture and decorative lighting applications. As the larger counterpart of SMART10, it offers additional space for LED strips up to 16 mm wide, providing greater flexibility when selecting a light source.

Its compact construction makes SMART16 suitable for illuminating cabinets, shelves, wardrobes and other furniture elements in residential and commercial interiors.

Continuous Light with the SMART16 LED Profile

SMART16 is designed to create clean, consistent lighting effects. Combined with a suitable LED strip with 120 LEDs per metre and an opal diffuser, it can produce a smooth, continuous line of light without visible LED points.

The integrated Slick groove simplifies diffuser installation and removal, allowing the diffuser to be inserted or clicked into place for convenient assembly and maintenance.

Diffuser Options and Lighting Effects

The SMART16 aluminium LED profile is compatible with two system diffuser types:

B slide-in diffuser – transparent (95%), frosted (90%) and opal (60%).
C3 click diffuser – transparent (95%), opal (70%) and black (40%).

The black C3 diffuser can be combined with a black profile and matching end caps to create a discreet, coordinated finish, particularly suitable for contemporary furniture designs.

Flexible Mounting and Dedicated Accessories

SMART16 offers practical installation options through its compatible mounting accessories.

U4 mounting clips work with two grooves along the profile, allowing installation directly against the mounting surface or with a small gap.

For applications requiring easy repositioning, neodymium magnetic holders provide secure attachment to suitable metal surfaces, making them particularly useful for adjustable furniture and display systems.

Dedicated SMART16 end caps, made from durable ABS material, complete the profile and provide a neat, professional finish.
