SLASH8 – Flexible Recessed LED Profile for Decorative Furniture Lighting
SLASH8 by TOPMET Light is a compact recessed LED profile designed for decorative furniture and interior lighting. Unlike conventional aluminium LED profiles, SLASH8 is made from polycarbonate (PC) and combines the functions of a profile and diffuser in a single component.
Its integrated opal finish creates a soft, diffused lighting effect without the need for a separate diffuser. This makes SLASH8 a practical solution for minimalist interiors where discreet lighting and simple installation are essential.
Slim Design with Flexible Installation
One of the key advantages of the SLASH8 LED profile is its exceptionally narrow mounting recess of just 5 mm wide and 14 mm deep.
The profile accommodates LED strips up to 8 mm wide, which can be installed before the profile is fitted into the prepared recess.
Unlike rigid aluminium profiles, SLASH8 can also be installed along curved lines, with a minimum bending radius of 250 mm. This allows designers to introduce gentle curves and flowing lighting accents into furniture and interior surfaces.
Soft, Continuous-Looking Light
SLASH8 features a distinctive construction in which the LED strip is positioned perpendicular to the visible illuminated surface. This arrangement helps distribute light evenly, creating a subtle glow.
When combined with an LED strip with 120 LEDs/m, the profile can produce a smooth, continuous-looking line of light with reduced visibility of individual LED points.
Its slim illuminated surface makes SLASH8 particularly suitable for furniture details, decorative panels and curved lighting features.
Integrated Diffuser and Minimal Accessories
The SLASH8 recessed LED profile does not require a separate diffuser, simplifying product selection and installation.
Available in an opal finish, the profile can be completed with dedicated SLASH8 opal end caps for a clean appearance.
SLASH8 is offered in 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4100 mm lengths, providing flexibility for different furniture and interior lighting projects.
