The TOPMET LIGHT offer also includes recessed profiles for LED strips. Although their assembly requires making appropriate holes or cut-outs in the surface, in the end LED lighting constitutes a perfect finish for furniture, stairs, walls, plinths or ceilings.

What are the special features of recessed LED profiles? How are they installed?
Recessed profiles usually face the mounting surface, forming an integral whole with it. Their miniature size makes them easy to install and they do not interfere with the structure of furniture or boards. However, before making gaps in the surface, it is worth remembering about appropriate dimensions. The recessed strips available in our offer allow the installation of LED strips in places of profiles with a maximum width of: 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, 30 or 46 mm.
Our recessed strips are best for furniture applications. They perfectly decorate the edges of counter-tops or steps. Some versions are also suitable for use in ceilings or plasterboards. They are mounted using mounting plates (by screwing) or directly (by screwing or gluing) to furniture, walls or plinths.
The LED profiles included in the offer are made of anodised aluminium in silver or black, covered with a white powder paint coating or – in an economical version – of raw aluminium. In the latter case, the layer is not resistant to damage, hence our customers are more likely to choose anodised versions with a high degree of scratch resistance.
Among TOPMET LIGHT recessed LED profiles some also enable easy diffuser mounting thanks to the Slick socket, achieving the effect of a continuous line of light (when using an LED 120 P/m strip), curve mounting (minimum bending radius 25 cm), diffused light emission, a parabolic reflector (uniform, smooth, diffused light glow), reduced glare effect or luminous angular connections thanks to connectors with five different angles: 60°, 90°, 120°, 135°, 180°.
Recessed LED profiles. What components do we offer?
The recessed profiles can be fitted with a variety of clip-on or slide diffusers, which not only allow the preferred amount of light to be emitted, but also serve to protect the LEDs. Apart from diffusers, our customers can also choose end caps (available in white, silver, black or grey colour and opal – semi-transparent), mounting plates and connectors.
