The key part of our company’s products are additional LED profiles, which are strictly auxiliary. They constitute an important supplement to the basic surface, suspended and special application LED profiles available in our offer.
Additional lighting – what profiles do we have for LED strips?
Our product range also includes additional profiles, which are available in several variants, such as: the COMBO30-02 Q9, the COMBO30-03 C4/Q9 profile, the VARIO30-08 TY profile, the FIX12 profile, the FIX16 profile and the BASE profile. What are their characteristics?
Aluminium profiles for LED strips. What makes the additional profiles different?
The additional LED profiles include two profiles from the COMBO30 line (02 and 03) which together with COMBO30-01 profile can be used both as surface and suspended luminaires. They are characterised by easy installation and service, with many possible types of connections, creating an original lighting composition under the ceiling with an up/down lighting system (profiles 01 + 03). Light shapes can also be created on wall surfaces (combination of profiles 01 + 02)
In addition, our products include a lighting profile from the VARIO30 series, which is part of a larger system for the construction of luminaires. The VARIO30-08 TY power profile can be installed in many ways with relatively little effort. Thanks to it, we have almost unlimited possibilities for creating light, and in angular connections we can obtain the effect of a continuous line of light.
FIX12 and FIX16 profiles are characterised by the simplest LED strip mounting and its relatively permanent adhesion to surfaces. The maximum strip width for the FIX12 profile is 12mm, while for the FIX16 profile it is 16mm. LED strips can serve as a mounting feature: FIX12 for profiles with X sockets or FIX16 for profiles with T sockets. Additionally, like other LED profiles, FIX series profiles perform the function of a heat sink, which dissipates heat from the LED source. A lower temperature means better working conditions for LEDs, thus extending LED life and providing better light performance. This also translates into economic considerations – LED lighting does not require such frequent light source replacement.
In the catalogue of architectural TOPMET LIGHT LED profiles under the name ‘additional profiles’ there is only one product to start with – BASE. This is a basic aluminium skirting board. It constitutes a stylistic supplement of the SKIRT10 skirting board. It is suitable for all types of flooring, and compared to MDF and wood strips, it is more durable and moisture-resistant. An additional advantage is the space for hiding wires.
Our additional strips – like our other profiles – are made of aluminium. They are mostly available in four colours – white painted, silver anodised, black anodised and raw aluminium. In the latter case, the layer is not resistant to damage, hence our customers are more likely to choose anodised versions with a high degree of scratch resistance. In addition, we also offer end caps in silver, white, black or grey.
These and other products included in the offer are unique – designed by TOPMET designers. The designs are registered – legally protected throughout the European Union. TOPMET profiles and accessories are manufactured in Poland.
