Our furniture LED profiles are divided into four groups – surface, recessed, angular and special application. They work great in the kitchen, dressing room, office, living room, hallway and many other places. They add a modern and designer touch to furniture and more.
Furniture LED profiles. What material are they made of? How does the installation work?
LED strips are available in four colours – white painted (powder coat), silver anodised aluminium, black anodised aluminium or raw aluminium. The last one is an economical version, not resistant to damage, hence our customers are more likely to choose anodised versions with a high degree of scratch resistance.
In terms of installation, our furniture profiles for LED strips are adapted to various design assumptions – they can be installed on flat surfaces, recessed into milled or cut-out holes, or placed in the corners of furniture, obtaining a glow angle with the parameters of 30, 45 or 60 degrees.
TOPMET LIGHT also offers special LED profiles that have a wide range of decorative lighting applications. From this list, we can use bendable profiles to create original light arcs or wavy lamps. Our special application strips also allow the light beam to be directed in two dimensions (up/down, left/right). They are also great for displaying items in showcases.
LED profiles for TOPMET LIGHT furniture. What components do they contain?
Aluminium profiles are not everything, of course. Diffusers in a dozen or so versions are dedicated to them, such as slide transparent, slide frosted, slide opal, click transparent, click opal, click black, click lens, click frosted. Some of the profiles in the TOPMET offer have the additional Slick function. Slick sockets allow both slide and ‘click’ slide diffusers.
Depending on the customer’s needs, the diffusers are available in various degrees of transparency. By selecting the preferred level of light transmission, we can take care of the desired lighting effect. The highest light transmittance is guaranteed by transparent diffusers, then frosted, and the least – opal. It all depends on whether the LED strips are to be used for more decorative or lighting purposes. The choice of diffuser is also important in terms of LED visibility. Some of our customers choose transparent diffusers, which absorb much less light, so they are perfect for installation in invisible places. The rest of the customers, on the other hand, most often decide on opal diffusers, which in profiles with 120 P/m strips allow to achieve the effect of a continuous line of light.
