LED profiles for plasterboard
LED strips can be installed in building materials such as plasterboard. This gives great possibilities in the design and arrangement of space. Such boards can be easily cut to size, the preferred thickness can be selected, and thanks to their low weight their installation is not difficult. As a result, they can be used in a wide range of applications and, in addition, some of our profiles will fit into panels of standard thickness without the need for milling the substrate or a plasterboard frame. It is also possible to create a continuous line of light using 120 P/m strip, which will further emphasise the designer character of the interior.
LED Lighting. Profiles for plasterboard from TOPMET LIGHT
The HIDE10 C4 profile is available in anodised or raw aluminium. It is suitable for walls as well as ceilings made of plasterboard. The profile is mounted using screws. The LED strip itself must not exceed 10 mm in width. The diffuser in the C4 click version snaps on in a standard way. This is complemented by the HIDE10 end caps with a grey hole.
The OMNI10 AC2 profile has a slightly different, more decorative character, which perfectly accentuates the corners of walls or floors. Finally the profile and the diffuser are invisible, but the light emanating from them gives the interior an unusual effect. Such a profile can be used in many contexts and illuminate surfaces finished with various materials – be it a smoothly painted wall, a textured wall, wallpaper, wooden or brick surfaces. In this case, two diffusers are available to our customers – the A slide diffuser and the C2 click diffuser.
The SMOOTH12 BC/Q9 profile is also invisible, providing atmospheric lighting and perfectly accentuating the contours of the room. What is worth mentioning is that it is mounted to existing walls, without the need for a drywall system. Its components include connectors with various angles – 45°, 60°, 90°, 120°, 135°, 180°, the diffuser can be either inserted or ‘clicked in’, and the profile itself is available in raw aluminium.
Like the HIDE10 C4 model, the FRAME14 BC/Q profile is also dedicated to plasterboard. This profile is used primarily as a decorative finish to the structure, but with the use of 120 P/m strips and an opal diffuser it is also possible to create a continuous line of light. Thanks to the variety of connectors this profile offers many arrangement possibilities. TOPMET LIGHT is available in white, anodised or raw aluminium.
The LINEA-IN20 TRIMLESS EF profile is designed for plasterboard installation. It is equipped with a Slick socket, which ensures easy diffuser installation. This model can accommodate LED sources up to 20mm wide.
The last on our list of LED profiles for plasterboard – VARIO30-04 ACDE-9 and VARIO30-05 ACDE-0 give you the widest choice of components such as diffusers, end caps, connectors and profiles themselves. They are designed for strip widths of up to 30 mm. These profiles provide almost unlimited possibilities of creating lighting and various combinations.
