Why LED profiles?
Aluminium profiles are ideal heat sinks – they dissipate heat from the LED source.
Lower temperatures mean better conditions for the LEDs, which automatically extends their lifetime and preserves the initial quality of the transmitted light for a longer time.
This also translates to savings – it takes much longer before the light source needs to be replaced. Aluminium profiles are an investment that pays off.
An aluminium profile protects the LED source from mechanical damage. The installation is much more durable compared to simply sticking the LED tape to the floor directly. Elevated appearance and easier to keep clean.
TOPMET offers LED aluminium profiles in 4 finishes:
- painted white – powder coating,
- silver anodised aluminium,
- black anodised aluminium,
- raw aluminium – low-cost version, not resistant to damage.
Anodised versions with a high degree of scratch resistance are the most popular choice. The thickness of the anode coating is 15 µm on all our profiles.
The design department is constantly working on adding more components to the range to facilitate installation and add to the range of possible combinations, connections and fittings.
In addition to system mountings, which fit a wide variety of profiles, many collections come with dedicated solutions for more advanced, specialised needs.
